Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Odoo development and will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Odoo modules and customizations to meet our clients' business requirements. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to ensure the successful implementation of Odoo ERP solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Odoo Development:
- Design and develop Odoo applications using Python.
- Customize Odoo modules according to client requirements.
- Develop new functionality and modules in Odoo to support business processes.
2. Module Customization and Integration:
- Customize Odoo's existing modules to fit client-specific requirements.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and APIs.
- Develop and maintain connectors for integrating Odoo with external systems.
3. Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure end-to-end testing of modules.
4. Database Management:
- Design and optimize database queries to ensure system efficiency.
- Manage data migrations and data integrity within Odoo.
5. Technical Support and Maintenance:
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure system performance and security.
6. Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with business analysts and project managers to understand business requirements.
- Document technical specifications and user manuals for developed applications.
7. Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Provide training to end-users on new functionalities and features.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Odoo development, customization, and module creation.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
- Knowledge of XML, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of Odoo framework and ORM.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality code.
Educational Qualifications:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications) or equivalent.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in Odoo development.
- Proven track record of successful Odoo implementations and customizations.
